Noto Peninsula Travel Guide

The Noto Peninsula is a peninsula located in the northern part of Ishikawa prefecture.  It includes the cities of Suzu, Wajima, and Nanao, and the county of Hakui.

Because the area of Noto Peninsula is vast, there are many sightseeing spots. If you want to enjoy the natural scenery, we recommend Chirihama Nagisa Driveway, Shiroyone Senmaida, and Noto Kongo Sightseeing Boat. Moreover, the area is also a region with lively fishing and traditional craft industries and you can enjoy fresh seafood at Wajima morning market. As for traditional crafts, there is Wajima lacquer work, which can be seen at Wajima Kobo Nagaya and the Wajima Museum of Lacquer Art.

It is necessary to have a car for getting around this area.  From Kanazawa Station in the center of Ishikawa prefecture, you can take a bus to Wajima.  It takes between 2 hours and 2 hours and 30 minutes.
