This 30,000m2 garden is located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It used to belong to Nishi Yukinaga, vassal of the second head of Mori clan during the Edo Period (1603-1868). The garden consists of a pond, study building, tea-house, a bower and a river.
The warehouse in the park has famous Shimonoseki sweets and other articles on sale. There are works of various writers and tourism information on display, so why don’t you drop by?
Business hours are from 9:00 to 17:00, the last entrance is 16:40. The entrance fee is 200 yen for adults, 100 for high-schoolers.
