This is a municipal park where you can enjoy the nature of Hokkaido. There are various flowers, growing here and you can also spot wild birds, such as woodpeckers.

Additionally, in winter check out the 200m long sledge slope; you will be amazed by its length and force. Depending on the season, the "S" shaped roller coaster is also open. If you get hungry, try Genghis Khan and Takino ramen at the local barbecue and guest houses.

In summer, you can do fishing and water activities, enjoy waterfalls; in winter, ski, cross country ski and snow shoes.

Business hours vary, depending on the season.  The park opens at 9AM all year round, closing time is 6 PM between June and August, December-March – 4 PM, any other time 5 PM. The park is closed on April 19th and December 22nd, open only if these dates happen to be Sunday. 

Access

From Makomanai Station, take Takino line Chuo bus (106), get off at "Suzuran Koen guchi". The bus ride would take around 35 minutes, bus fee are 440 yen for adults and 220 yen for children.
