Sapporo Teine

This is a ski resort, located on the Mt. Teine at the elevation of 1000m. This famous mountain with powder snow used to be a venue for 1972 Olympics. There are 15 ski courses available here, including 15 km long-run course for beginners.

In the upper part of Mt. Teine there is Highland Zone introducing slalom courses for men and women and giant slalom courses for women only. Here you can try "Kita-Kabe" course which is a famous steep slope. There are a lot of dynamic areas which you can enjoy.

The Olympia Zone, includes both intermediate and advanced levels courses. There is also a kid’s park and a ski school.

Access

Car: 1 hour to Teine IC on Sasson Expressway from Shin-Chitose Airport. 40 minutes from Sapporo City. From Teine IC, it takes 7 minutes to Teine ski slope.

Train: From Sapporo Station on Tozai Line get off at Teine Station, 20 minutes by bus from the station. There is a bus from Sapporo, 1 hour. Many hotels in Hokkaido provide shuttle buses to Teine.
