Kitano Ijinkan with the exotic atmosphere of Western countries

Many Western-style residences that are built after end of Edo era and Meiji era remain in Kitano area of Kobe City. Some of these residences are open for tourists at the tourist site, Kitano Ijinkan. There are 21 facilities such as Kazami-dori-no-Yakata (house with weathercock) and Moegi-no-yakata (house of light yellowish green), Uroko-no-ie (house with scale-style siding) and some are used as museum facilities, restaurants or cafés.
