Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park

Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park is located in Miura, Kanagawa Prefecture. You can see various sea creatures in different areas of the aquarium.

30 aquariums comprise 4 different themes. Sakana-no-kuni Aquariums is home to approximately 5000 fish of 40 species, as well as a variety of sharks over 3 m long. The aquarium has a round shape, so you get a 360-degree view of the sea world. Besides, you get to see not only the living creatures but also a replica of deep-water mega mouth shark.

You can see an adorable dolphin and seal performance in the "Fantasium," an all-season indoor theater. In other areas, you can see sea lions and penguins, as well as river utters and other animals, inhabiting rivers, ponds, rocks etc.

On the grounds, you can find restaurants, serving food made of local ingredients: tuna ramen or tuna-don. The prices range from 1000 yen to 1550 yen, be sure to drop by if you visit Keikyu Aburatsubo Marine Park.

Access

Train: 13 minutes from Keikyu Misakiguchi Station (1 hour and 15 minutes from Tokyo Station) on the Keihin Kyuko Bus bound for Aburatsubo to the final stop, then 5 minutes on foot.

Car: 20 minutes from Kinugasa Interchange on the Yokohama-Yokosuka Road via Miura Jukan Road (500-vehicle toll parking lot available, 700 yen). The parking fee is subject to change during summer season.
