The Enoshima Sea Candle is an observation tower in Enoshima. From the tower which stands 101.5m above sea level you can see the sea around Enoshima and to the west you will see Mt. Fuji, to the east you will see the Miura Peninsula, and to the south you will be able to see Oshima. On days with good weather you can see the Tokyo Sky Tree and Yokohama Landmark Tower to the north. From early evening into the night the scenery is especially beautiful, to the point where this tower was designated as a Japanese night-time scenery heritage site in 2010.
The Enoshima Sea Candle is located in the Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden which features beautiful flowers in all four seasons. The entry fee to the Samuel Cockings Garden is 200 yen per adult, and to enter the Sea Candle there is an additional fee of 300 yen, making the total admission price for the Sea Candle 500 yen per adult. For children the entry fee is 250 yen.
The nearest railway station on the Enoshima Electric Railway is Enoshima Station, from Enoshima Station it is a 25 minute walk to the tower. On the Odakyu Electric Railway you can go to Katase-Enoshima station which is a 20 minute walk from the tower. From the Shonan Monorail Shonan-Enoshima Station it is a 30 minute walk to the tower. If you wish to use a bus, you can take the Enoden Bus or Keihin Kyuko Bus bound for Enoshima Bus Stop which is an 8 minute walk from the tower.
