What is The National Art Center, Tokyo?
The National Art Center, Tokyo is an art museum in Roppongi. With no permanent collection, it is an exhibition space where shows of various art works are held. Besides exhibitions, many workshops and lectures are also held.
On the 3rd floor, there is an art library where many resources related to art can be browsed free of charge. You cannot borrow the materials but you can make copies for a fee.
There are also a cafe, a museum shop, a child care space, and other services.

Hours of Operation and Admission Fees
Exhibits are open 10:00 to 18:00 and last admission is at 17:30. During an exhibition period, it stays open until 20:00 on Fridays only. The museum is closed on Tuesdays. The admission fees change depending on the show.
The nearest station is Nogizaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda line. Exit 6 is directly connected to the museum. Also, it is a 10 minute walk from Roppongi Station on the Toei Oedo line and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya line.
