The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum is an art museum that opened in 1995, dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of photography and moving images. It presents a variety of exhibitions and gallery collections throughout the year. In addition to the three exhibition rooms, the museum houses a specialist library with books dedicated to all aspects of photography. Visitors are permitted to use the library free of charge.
Opening Hours and Entry Fees
The Tokyo Photographic Art Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday – 10.00-18.00. On Thursday and Friday, the hours are 10.00-20.00. Entry will be permitted up until 30 minutes before closing time. The museum is closed every Monday and over the New Year Holiday Period. There may also be temporary closures for special events.

Ebisu Station, the closest station, is served by both the East Japan Railway Company (JR) and by the Tokyo Metro. If you are travelling via the Tokyo Metro, please use the Hibiya Line. The destination is approximately a 10 minute walk from the station.
