Description

The Sky Bus Tokyo is a fixed-time length bus tour that is run by the Hinomaru Jidosha Kogyo Co. in Japan. Up until this bus started running there were no open-top buses for tourists or Japanese to enjoy in Japan, and so the service began in accordance with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Visit Japan Campaign" in 2004. In 2013 a water bus began operation.

Three buses for you to choose from

Currently Sky Bus runs three different buses. There is the SKY HOP BUS which you pay a one-time fee for a 1 or 2 day pass and you can freely get on and off the bus. Three courses are available: The Asakusa-Tokyo Sky Tree course, the Odaiba Course, and the Roppongi-Tokyo Tower course. It's perfect for people who like to take detours and explore tourist destinations on foot.SKY BUS TOKYO allows you to explore Tokyo from a bus without stops. It's short and efficient and it's great for those who just want to look around Tokyo. There are 7 courses, the Imperial Palace-Ginza-Marunouchi course, Omotesando-Shibuya course, Tokyo Tower-Rainbow Bridge course, and Asakusa course among others. SKY DUCK allows you to explore in an amphibious bus after you're finished with the normal bus tour. It's a tour that explores the old Nakagawa from atop the water. For courses there is the Tokyo Sky Tree course, and two kinds of Kameido course. The moment the bus moves from the land into the water is particularly exciting.

Note to riders

SKY BUS TOKYO and SKY DUCK require reservations in advance on the website. They accept reservations 1 month in advance. It is cold in some seasons and there is no roof so you may want to bring something warm to wear. They distribute raincoats for free in cases of rain.
