Akasaka Sacas is the multi complex facility in Akasaka, Minato ward in Tokyo. There are many kinds of facilities like a TV station, theaters, live houses, office buildings, high-rise apartments and select shops. As the name 'Sacas' indicates about 100 cherry blossoms in Akasaka that bloom in spring. ('Sacas' means blooming flower). Also, as for the name, Akasaka has its name because there are many "Saka" (slopes) around there.
Facilities in Akasaka Sacas
The Akasaka ACT Theater, a theater in Akasaka Sacas, has had visits from more than two million people since it opened in 2008. Popular musicals, plays and concerts are held there. The Akasaka BLITZ (a Live house) is well known in the area for always playing the latest songs. Also, at the Akasaka plaza, events of all kinds are held throughout the year.
In the shopping area, there are many shops, mostly selling household goods and flowers. The restaurants provide food and drinks from many parts of the world to meet any kind of needs from the visitors. There are also convenience stores, ATMs and drugstores. Besides those, Akasaka Sacas also has shops that sell special goods and have special menus, so it is suitable for buying souvenirs too.
Train: The nearest station is Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. This station has the exit that leads directly to Akasaka Sacas, so it's convenient for sightseeing. Parking: Not available. Visiting this by car is not recommended.
