Hands-on for children to grownups

NHK Studio Park is a broadcasting theme park, located in NHK Broadcast Center, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, offering visitors hands-on experiences through exhibits, daily events and studio viewings. The theme park consists of three floors, A, B and C for visitors to look around freely, with a shop selling NHK original items and a cafe.

Floor A: "Super Hi-Vision" exhibiting next-generation TV equipped with 22.2ch 3D audio and ultra high-definition display (33 million pixels), "Studio Gallery" (exhibits featuring the latest NKH programs), a section for a visitor to use a field camera, a night vision camera, a robot camera, etc. for filming living organisms, and "Studio CT-450" open to public viewing of live recordings of programs.

Floor B:
"Media Wall" for viewing of NHK programs from the past to today, "NHK WORLD" for listening international broadcasting radio programs in a total of 18 languages including Japanese and English, "Animation Hub" featuring the animation making process, as well as "Animation Factory" for dubbing your own voice in a NHK cartoon program currently on air. In addition, hands-on sections where you can learn how to record a news program as an anchorperson, a news reporter, or a cameraman, as well as how to create sound effect by synthetizing image and music and so on.

Floor C:
Amusement park reproducing indoor sets of children’s programs where children play with their favorite TV characters. 


It is a 12 minute walk from Shibuya station on JR Yamanote Line, Tokyu Toyoko Line/Den-en-toshi Line, Keio Inokashira Line, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line/Hanzomon Line/ Fukutoshin Line, from Harajuku station on JR Yamanote Line, from Meiji-Jingumae station on Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line/Fukutoshin Line, and from Yoyogi-koen station on Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. Non-stop bus service is available from Shibuya station from NHK Studio Park, 4-5 services/hour, at a fare of 210 yen (adult) and 110 yen (child).

By car, exit at Tomigaya-Deiriguchi on the Metropolitan Expressway Inner Circular Route. As there is no parking lot exclusive for visitors to the Studio Park, you are recommended to use a car parking in the neighborhood.
