Edo Ueno Hirokoji-tei is an entertainment hall in Tokyo, Ueno Hirokoji. It is located indoors and visitors must take their shoes off on the first floor before changing to slippers and going to the second floor to the entertainment hall. On the 1st through the 15th of every month, Joseki (Variety acts) take the stage including Rakugo Storytelling, Mandan (Comic chat), Manzai (Comic dialog), magic showcases, Rokyoku (Storytelling accompanied by shamisen (Japanese stringed instrument), Gidayubushi (Narrative accompanied by shamisen) as well as other classical performing arts and comedy acts. Capacity is relatively small, 100 people, visitors are very close to performers and the atmosphere is cozy. Cushioned seating, tatami mat flooring, visitors can enjoy an old-fashioned feel. Lunch performances are 12:00PM to 4:30PM, night performances are 6:00PM to 9:00PM.

The nearest bus stations are: Ueno Matsuzakaya stop on the Toei Bus Line, Ueno Hirokoji stop on the Edo Bus Line. By car, the Ueno-deguchi (Ueno exit) of the Shuto (Metropolitan) Highway, #1 Ueno Line. There is no private parking available, visitors may park at nearby paid parking lots.
