Nago/ Onnason is located from the central to the northern part of Okinawa prefecture. There is the city of Nago surrounded by the county of Kunigami.
Sightseeing spots include Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, a huge aquarium famous all over the country, and the popular Ryukyu-Mura Village, where Okinawa culture can be experienced. In addition, there are many white sand shores and clear water ocean beaches so you can also enjoy real Okinawa scenery. If you are going diving, we recommend Ao no dokutsu (Blue Cave).
Kunigami Village, located at the northernmost tip of the main island, is a nature rich area and about 80% of the village is forest. If you participate in activities that let you experience the area, you may be able to see rare species unique to Okinawa.
There is no train service in Okinawa so it is necessary to have a car for getting around this area. From Naha Airport, it takes about 2 hours by car to get to the northernmost point, Hedomisaki Cape. From major cities, please fly to Okinawa.
