In the exhibition room you can see historical articles and masterpieces, articles by artisans known as "Living National Treasures", and you can also observe the art-making process on the monitors installed here. In addition, there is a room where you can witness the process with your own eyes.
You can also try your hand at making various pieces of art. During the Tsuboyaki experience, you make Shissa (Okinawan lion statues) out of clay; during Shuriori workshop you can make tablemats. For these workshops, advance booking is required which can be done via phone or e-mail.
At the gift shop you can buy articles made at the center, and these souvenirs that combine originality with Okinawan tradition will surely be to your liking.
