About Sightseeing Ship Orca
The Sightseeing Ship Orca is the world’s first large-scale underwater cruise ship in which you can enjoy the sea of Okinawa. The ship is furnished with glass paneling that is 1m in width and 55cm in height, through which you can enjoy a large scale panorama of the beautiful Okinawa sea. You will get to see vividly colored tropical fish and coral reef, and if you’re lucky you might even see a sea turtle. While you’re enjoying the underwater sights, a dedicated guide will inform you about the various things that you will see underwater.
There is a travel plan available with an included lunch, so after you’ve enjoyed the underwater tour you can treat yourself to a smorgasbord of Japanese and European food and steak. From April to October there is also a charter plan that includes an onboard barbecue.
The ship departs 5 times per day at the following times: 9:00, 10:15, 11:45, 14:00, and 15:30. Boarding occurs about 20 minutes before each departure, and the total time for each tour is about 50 minutes.
On the Okinawa City Monorail go to Asahibashi Station and from there it is a 10 minute walk. Paid parking is available if you visit by car.
